The elevated section has four stations of 12.375 km Package DC-01 of the Delhi Metro Phase 4 project, which connects Vikaspuri Ramp and Haiderpur-Badli Mor Station via ten stations.

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation – KEC International (CCECC – KEC) JV received the construction contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in November 2019 with a 30-month completion deadline.

Construction work began in December 2019, although portions of the Vikaspuri Ramp – Mangolpuri segment were delayed for years due to pending authorization clearances to cut trees along the route.

Following discussions between CCECC – KEC and DMRC, this portion was removed from the purview of DC-01. In September, the DMRC floated a construction bid with a 24-month timetable and an estimated cost of Rs. 398.63 crores.
