CHENNAI (Metro Rail News): Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) invites tender for licensing of built-up bare shell Shops / Office Spaces at Selected Elevated and UG Metro Stations along Corridor- 1 & 2 of Phase-I and its Extensions.

Through this tender, CMRL aims to rent out all available spaces outside its stations to generate revenue. Due to corona pandemic, metro services were shut down for months as a result of imposition of lockdowns and at present ridership are still low.
