NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has re-invited tenders to supply and commission 25KV AC Traction, 33KV Auxiliary Sub Stations, Associated Cabling and SCADA Systems for Krishna Park Extension Station of Janakpuri West-R. K Ashram corridor (Extn. of Line-8) under Phase-4 of Delhi Metro.

Name of Work – Design, Detail Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 25KV AC Traction (RIGID OHE), 33KV Auxiliary Sub Stations (ASS), Associated Cabling and SCADA Systems for Krishna Park Ext. Underground Station of Janakpuri west to R. K Ashram corridor (Extn. of Line-8) of Phase-IV Delhi MRTS Project.

Completion period of the Work: 20 Months

This is the second time tenders were invited for this work, as the last tender has been cancelled as the bid value of Alstom Transport India was on the higher side in comparison to DMRC estimated cost.

This time DMRC has increased the approximate cost of the work also  and completion period of work is now 20 months.

As mentioned earlier, this contract will be funded by the JICA ( Japan International Cooperation Agency) as a part of loan sanctioned for Phase-4 of Delhi Metro of amount INR 8,390 Crores.
