Thiruvananthapuram (Metro Rail News): Four trains from the state operating through Konkan railway route has been cancelled due to collapse of Pernem tunnel lined-wall between Pernem-Madure stations and multiple landslides in Kulem-Castle Rock Ghat section of South Western Railway.
Train No.06345 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Thiruvananthapuram Central daily special train leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from August 9 to 20 will remain fully cancelled.
Train No.02432 New Delhi – Thiruvananthapuram Central Rajdhani superfast triweekly special train leaving New Delhi on August 9, 11, 12, 16 and 18 will remain fully cancelled. Train No.02431 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Rajdhani superfast triweekly special train leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central on August 11, 13, 14, 18 and 20 will remain fully cancelled.
Also, four trains will be operated in a diverted route. Train No.02617 Ernakulam Junction – Hazrat Nizamuddin daily superfast special train leaving Ernakulam Junction from August 9 to 20 will be diverted to run via Madgaon-Londa Junction-Miraj Junction -Pune-Panvel-Kalyan Junction. Train No.02618 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Ernakulam Junction daily superfast special train leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin from August 9 to 20 will be diverted via Kalyan Junction – Panvel – Pune – Miraj Junction – Londa Junction – Madgaon. Train No.02284 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Ernakulam Junction Duronto weekly special train leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin on August 15 will be diverted via Pune- Guntakal- Jolarpettai Junction.
