HG Infra bags construction project of Rs 398 crore from DMRC

NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) has chosen HG Infra Engineering Ltd. as the low bidder for a construction project for Rs 398.63 crore.

The offer from the construction and infrastructure engineering firm was Rs 412.11 crore, whereas the project’s estimated cost from DMRC was Rs 398.63 crore.

The project’s construction is expected to be finished in 24 months.

The project’s scope involves the part design and construction of an elevated viaduct and four elevated stations — Eshopur, Paschim Vihar, Peeragarhi, and Mangolpuri — from P2 to PP88 and from P103 to Mangolpuri Station of Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Corridor of Phase- IV of Delhi MRTS.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) sent the company a letter of award (LOA) last week for a project in Haryana.

HG Infra will build a 6-lane Greenfield Karnal Ring Road that will begin at NH44 close to Shamgarh Village and conclude at Karnal-Munak Road close to Samalkha Village under the Bharatmala Pariyojana.

The company’s overall revenue for the first six months of the current fiscal year was Rs 1,817.74 crore, up 9.05 per cent from Rs 1,666.81 crore during the corresponding time last year. Compared to the previous year, the profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 162.3 crore as opposed to Rs 158.8 crore.

HG Infra’s stock has gained 0.71 per cent to Rs 624.30 a share.
