HYDERABAD (Metro Rail News): On Wednesday State municipal administration & urban development minister Mr KT Rama Rao stated that they will complete the left construction works of Hyderabad metro rail in the old city as soon as possible.

During responding to the questions asked by the members in the State Assembly he made this statement. He replied that they will finish the process of the acquisition of religious areas with the support of their local leaders. Criticising the union govt, he performed it clear that the Center had only ten per cent share in the project and also added that they yet did not get Rs.250 cr from the Center for the project.

Saying that the state govt is absolutely serious on public transport he announced that the CM KCR had given liberal funds for the overall development of Hyderabad city. KCR request Minister KT Rama Rao to start work on the metro and complete it as shortly as possible also he spoke about the dilapidated building at the Osmania General Hospital, that has been dubbed risky for trade and the need for a new building.

He also said that several people had filed cases in the court to stall the demolition of the existing building so that a fresh one can be constructed in its place.
