ITD Cementation won 2 contracts of Chennai Metro’s Line-4 Project worth Rs. 3800 CR.

CHENNAI, INDIA (Metro Rail News): ITD Cementation India Ltd. emerged as the lowest contender in the construction and transportation contracts for the underground packages of Chennai Metro Line-4’s 10 km UG-01 and UG-02 connecting the Powerhouse Ramp – Light House Station.

CMRL had invited both tenders for the Chennai Metro Phase-2 project packages of 118.9 km in February 2021 and the 48-month deadline sponsored by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the cost of $ 780 million (INR 5890 crore Approx.).

Package 1: UG-01

The 5.15 km twin section connects Bharathidasan Road Station and Light House Station with five stations. The package includes the construction of four of them at Bharathidasan Road, Alwarpet, Kutchery Road and Light House.

The construction of the Thirumayilai Station (Line-3 and Line-4 exchanges) will be done with the UG-04 Line-3 Package, which Larsen & Toubro (L&T) wins. As a result, the station planned on Foreshore Road is no longer operational.

Project’s Scope: Construction of underground corridor at Light House, Kutchery Road, Alwarpet, Bharathidasan Road, including an underground stabilization yard and crossing of the Light House Station and the accompanying twin tunnel, starts from chain 0 + 001 m to end 5 + chain 150 m.

Package 2: UG-02

The 4.878 km section of twin tunnels connects the western ramp of the Kodambakkam Flyover Station with the 5 Club Station at Kodambakkam Flyover (formerly Meenakshi College), Kodambakkam, Panagal Park (crossover), Nandanam and Boat Club (Adyar Gate Junction). The planned Natesan Park station is no longer operational.

Itdc cementation and various other companies from world like cec tiwan and indian companies have made metro projects competive and timrly completion led to investors confidence and people are getting better trasportation so that city is working efficiently for womens childern old and bussiness a comfortable journey in non stop timly reach upto 200km in major cityies of india .when metro came to india in calcutta but stopped due to litigation but delhi i worked at cp bharakhambha line upto mandihouse and ug cec metro underground project than with mott MacDonald noida as consultant now with railwyas and highwyas bridge projects with jpdsc jv partnership in 2008 to 2010 in cwg project completed .i am working for redelovelopment of railways station in uttarpradesh and we are designing pretendering costing epc tender for various companied from our company Madhu india in e laision and contract consultant having office in delhi as advisor done by my company .we feel infrastructures highwyas hospitals schools in india modernising indian subcontinent which will rule the world leading contractors will come thro end of the this yrs to investment planning to earn huge sum by adopting better revenue model india should follow up new farming practices and food security by sez in food psrks storsge technology and wastage from farm to city mandis if controlled by using modern technology from asean tigers like japan singapur thiland korean and USA technology by mnc investment will lead to exports from india to fight hunger in world .
