When does my access start?
Once we've confirmed your payment, the same working day for a bank transfer, UPI or cheque. You'll get an email with a link to set your password, and from the moment you sign in the full magazine archive, complete tender notices and ad-free reading are open. The daily briefing starts the next working morning.
Is the printed magazine included?
No, the plans above are digital. Print is charged separately because of postage and production, and subscribers get it at the reduced rate shown further up this page.
Can I pay by NEFT, cheque or purchase order?
Yes, and many of our institutional subscribers do. Our bank details are below, and we raise a GST invoice against your PO. Email us the transaction reference and we'll activate the account the same working day.
Do you provide a GST invoice?
Yes, on every subscription. Prices on this page are GST-inclusive, so what you see is what you pay. Digital plans are billed as an online information service under SAC 9984 at 18% GST; the printed magazine is a periodical under HSN 49021020, which is exempt at 0%. Send us your GSTIN and we will raise the invoice against it so you can claim input credit.
Can I subscribe from outside India?
Yes. Digital is $50 a year and print is $750 a year including international airmail, both payable in USD by card or PayPal.
Can I move up to a longer plan later?
Yes. Write to us any time and we'll credit whatever is left on your current plan against the longer one, so you only pay the difference.
Will my subscription renew automatically?
The 1-year plans renew yearly, and no AutoPay mandate is needed to subscribe. We email you 10 days before any renewal date, so a charge is never a surprise, and you can stop it by replying to that email or writing to us any time. You keep access right up to the date you have already paid for. The 2-year and 5-year plans do not renew at all: you pay once, your rate is held for the whole term, and we'll remind you when it's ending. Overseas plans billed in USD through PayPal do renew automatically, and those you cancel from your PayPal account.
How many people can use one subscription?
One person, signed in on as many of their own devices as they like. If several colleagues need access, write to us with the number and we'll work something out.
