NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): Paras Railtech has emerged as the lowest bidder to supply tracks to Delhi Metro’s existing Ajronda and Sarita Vihar depots on the Violet Line (Line-6) for augmenting additional maintenance facilities as part of Delhi Metro’s Phase 4 project.
DMRC had invited bids for this track-work contract at both depots in May 2020 with an estimated cost of Rs 22.70 crore and expects the assigned contractor to complete work in 24 months. Technical bids were opened on October 9 to reveal 3 bidders, and during technical bid evaluation Paras Railtech was the only firm that qualified to the next round of financial bid opening. The other bidders were disqualified.

The Scope of the work includes Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Ballastless/Ballasted Track in Ajronda Depot and Sarita Vihar depot for Augmentation of Additional Maintenance Facilities for Standard Gauge Corridor of Delhi MRTS Project of Phase-IV. YFC Projects in October emerged as the lowest bidder for Sarita Vihar’s reconstruction (Package DC-26) which includes a cut & cover ramp section and other civil works.
