Mumbai: Sometime back Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor traveled in Mumbai Metro. His presence at the metro station did surprise commuters. Now it is actor-author Anupam Kher who decided to take the metro to evade the traffic.
Kher is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ where he will be portraying former PM Manmohan Singh. The film is directed by Vijay Gutte, a young and upcoming talent in the film industry.
He traveled in Mumbai Metro and also captured moments from the train. Here is his tweet on his experience:
Thanks to the horrible traffic at Saki Naka, Mumbai, had a great experience traveling by Metro for the first time ever. Loved the experience and the people in it. Jai Ho.???? pic.twitter.com/kTD1EMZq5G

It indeed is nice to see celebrities leaving their luxury cars and taking to metro for travel. This will encourage lot many to use public transport and leave their private vehicles at home. We hope other celebrities take inspiration from Boney Kapoor and Anupam Kher.
Commuters too feel happy to see popular names from Bollywood taking metro ride just like them. We will wait to see who takes the metro next.
