NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): NMRC entrusted the work of preparing the DPR of the Metro Extension Corridor from Sector-142 to the Botanical Garden. Accordingly, DMRC had submitted the DPR recently.
Boost to Connectivity
This project will provide ease of connectivity to the residents within both the cities of NOIDA & GNIDA and further connect them to the Delhi metro network. Botanical Garden will be an interchanging station between NMRC’s Aqua Line and DMRC’s Magenta & Blue Line. This project will benefit all commuters travelling from Noida- Greater Noida towards Delhi and vice-versa.
Project Highlights:
- Total Length: 11.56 km
- Total Stations: 8 Nos of New Elevated Stations
- Total Estimated Cost: Rs. 2254.35 Cr.

- Noida Sector – 105
- Noida Sector – 108
- Noida Sector – 93
- Panchsheel Balak Inter College)
- End – Noida Sector – 142 (Already Existing)
Further Approvals
NMRC has submitted DPR to NOIDA authority and GNIDA Authority, respectively, to grant In-Principal Approval for DPR. DPR will also be added to the NMRC Board in the next Board Meeting. After that, DPR will be processed for approval of GoUP and GoI.
