BANGALORE (Metro Rail News): Mr Gulati succeeds A.K. Agarwal, who was appointed as general manager of the Rail Wheel Factory in Bengaluru. He assumed control on 7th November.
Mr Gulati, who belongs to the Indian Railway Electrical Engineering Services 1986 batch, worked for Southern Railway as the Chennai Divisional Railway Manager and was intimately involved in the project to transform the New Delhi Railway Station into a first-class facility.
He played a crucial role in creating the database system, which serves as the brain of the Indian Railways database system, while on assignment at CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems).
