Dehradun (Metro Rail News): The Navayuga Group, an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Visakhapatnam emerged as the lowest bidder for the construction of the development of tunnels, bridges along with formation works.
The bid comes under package – 3 in the connection between building a new rail line between Rishikesh and Karnprayag. The total distance of the proposed rail line is 125 KM which will ease the connectivity between two great places of worship. The two hill stations of Uttarakhand have also great importance as tourist destinations.
The Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) estimated the cost of the tender was Rs. 1887.53 Cr. and The financial bid open on 24 August 2020.

It is indeed a shame that all govt projects wind up on price,, never do they consider experience,,, quality and technology that even paying a premium will assure of quality,,, one cannot imagine that they consider L&T as a non considerste company,,, shame on the decision makers
If you see the technical qualification all companies are assessed on experience ability technology etc and then the decision is taken on the basis of L1, and the work is awards to lo west bidder among the equals
