The track-work contract CA-167, involves the installation of standard gauge tracks on the elevated section that is currently under construction by J Kumar Infraprojects via civil Package CA-48.  In April 2021, the inaugural U-girder for constructing Line-9’s viaduct, incorporating multiple double-decker sections, was initiated.

Scope of the Contract

The contract entails a wide range of tasks, including designing, constructing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning ballastless trackwork extending from Dahisar East Station to Bhayandar Station. This includes the establishment of the third trackside track and a terminal at Dahisar, as well as the entry/exit approach track for Line-9 Corridor at the depot.
