KANPUR (Metro Rail News): UP Metro has been celebrating safety week from 01st March 2021 to 06th March 2021. The main purpose of this initiative is to spread awareness and aware people to follow the safety norms strictly.
On this occasion UP Metro’s MD Shri Kumar Keshav said “With the objective of ensuring safe execution of works at the construction/ work site. The Company has been continuously making efforts to provide compulsory training in relation to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE)”.

UP Metro also adhered to the international standards of safety during the implementation of the Lucknow Metro Rail Project, for which the project was felicitated with the ‘GOLD’ Award in 2019 under the project category of the international Royal Society for the prevention of accidents (ROSPA).
On the said occasion all the officials of UP Metro and the Civil Contractor M/S Afcons along with the labourers took “Safety Pledge” at Kanpur Metro Project.
