INDORE, INDIA (Metro Rail News): The first phase of the long-running metro rail project of Indore, called the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, could be completed in the 2023-24 financial year. A senior management official expressed his hopefulness regarding the speed of work on Tuesday.

Officials said that on September 14, 2019, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the Indore municipal metro project at a total cost of Rs 7,500.80 crore, and under this, a 31.55 KMs high railway line will be built in the city.
