In his remarks to the group, Shri Lahoti praised the efforts of team NCRTC for completing such a complex, extensive infrastructure project in only four years, putting all the sub-systems in place, and being prepared to commission the Priority Section while utilizing several cutting-edge technologies.

He further added that, it is laudable that the 82-km-long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor is being built at such a fast rate despite the difficulties of being in a crowded metropolitan environment. In addition, he noted that it is remarkable how a project implementation organization with the efficiency of NCRTC could be created from scratch in such a short amount of time.
