He told that many organizations of the world do blue lighting on 20 November to show their participation towards children’s rights. Last year, Rashtrapati Bhavan also collaborated in this global campaign.

Dr. Kumar Keshav, MD, UPMRCL said that “The safety of children is the top priority of UPMRC. The metro staff pays special attention to children traveling by metro, if a child appears without any parent, it is found out who is with him – if the child is found alone then action is taken immediately. LMRC will continue to prioritize children’s rights issues in future. Artefacts were displayed in the program to create awareness about child rights”.

Apart from Hazratganj, four other major metro stations i.e. Bhootnath, Vishvavidyalaya, Charbagh and Transport Nagar metro stations will also be connected to Global Campaign, #Go Blue. Volunteers are also sensitizing visitors about child rights through photo booths at all these metro stations. In which till Saturday more than six and a half thousand people have posted photos with hashtags like CRC 30 and for Every Child Every Right. This campaign, run in close collaboration with UPMRCL, will run till World Children’s Day (20 November).
