Phase-2 of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project comprises construction of 28.25 km long fully elevated corridor in 2 parts. The first part is Line-2 from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir of length 22.83 km with 20 stations while the second part is Line-3 from GNLU to GIFT City of length 5.41 km with two stations.
Phase-2 received approval from Union Government in February 2019 with an estimated cost of INR 5384.17 Crores with civil construction activities started from February this year.
